6 Star Green Star Living

Alkimos Beach is the first Australian community to achieve a 6 Star Green Star certification by the Green Building Council of Australia. The community has been purposefully designed in harmony with its natural surrounds. Around one third of the community is reserved for things like parks, bushlands, and playing fields.

All homes at Alkimos Beach come with a $4,000 All-Electric Home Incentive^, which will set you up with energy efficient technologies. Combined with good design, you could save you up to 50% on your energy bills*.

Surf Lifesaving BeachSAFE community

Alkimos Beach is Australia’s first Surf Life Saving endorsed BeachSAFE community. Surf Life Saving WA brings an important presence to Alkimos Beach, with its focus on saving lives and building community capacity. Enjoy Australia’s iconic pastime of a day at the beach with peace of mind. As an Alkimos Beach resident, you’ll receive complimentary access to BeachSAFE programs, which educate the community about the key principles of beach safety. 

Patrolling Alkimos Beach on Sundays during surf season, Alkimos Surf Life Saving Club keeps your family safe as they enjoy the pristine waters of the Indian Ocean. Grab a coffee from the beach coffee cart while you watch your nipper learn, build confidence and have fun at the Sunday Nipper Program. There’s a host of other world-class surf lifesaving programs to get involved with too including SurfBabies, SurfKids, Holiday Nippers and a first aid course.

Alkimos Beach has been designed to mitigate the effects of urban heat build-up. Every home built must be climate responsive, with a light-coloured roof to reflect the
sun’s rays. Our vast green spaces help keep temperatures more comfortable in summer, while reducing the cost of running your home.

Foreshore conservation

Conservation of the natural habitats of wildlife and plants along the coastline is a top priority at Alkimos Beach. We’re committed to the Carnaby’s Black Cockatoo rehabilitation program. The initiative is aimed at rehabilitating the species’ natural
foraging habit on the foreshore as well as the green space around the development.
Our residents plant native gardens that provide food for the birds and create an environment for all to enjoy.

The Alkimos Beach project was acquired Stockland Supalai Residential Communities Partnership Pty Ltd on 29 November 2024. As these reports pre-date the acquisition, they contain references to the previous owner of the Project.

We take the welfare of the native flora and fauna very seriously and manage the site in accordance with the approved State and Federal Environmental approvals and Management Plans.

The following three management plans as well as the compliance reports have been prepared to satisfy Condition 3, 10, 11 and 12 of the EPBC Act approval, which require the preparation, submission and publication of

Annual Compliance Reports, a Foreshore Management Plan, a Conservation Area Management Plan as well as a Precinct Landscape and Revegetation Management Plan.
