Located at the heart of Perth’s northern coastal corridor between Joondalup and Yanchep, the future pedestrian friendly and transit oriented Alkimos Central city centre has been designed to bring much needed amenities and infrastructure to this fast growing region. Stage one of the retail precinct completion is expected in 2027.
A Development Application has now been submitted to the City of Wanneroo for the proposed future Leatherback Youth Space, to be located at Leatherback Oval.
The project will deliver a much-needed outdoor space for local youth with the aim to bring all ages together, with fun facilities including 3v3 basketball zones, netball hoop and practice areas, a 'ninja warrior' style course, picnic areas and more.
The facility will feature indoor and outdoor swimming pools, gym and fitness facilities, sports courts, a crèche, café, change rooms and carpark, and cater to people of all ages and abilities.
