It's not just the stunning Lake Joondalup views we rave about here at Illyarrie. With a whopping 4 hectares (or two and a half Optus Stadiums) of green space throughout the community, nature greets you at your doorstep. Every. Single. Day.
And our first public open space is already gearing up - with earthworks lined up for this month, and park construction hot on its heels, with an expected completion date in October 2024.
Nestled along Wanneroo Road and at the entrance of Illyarrie Rise, this pocket of parkland will be your first glimpse as you enter your new neighbourhood. Glance to your left as you drive in, and you'll be greeted by lush greenery, tree canopy - and an impressive entrance statement welcoming you home. And, for some lucky residents along Lillypilly Loop, views of the parklands and tree canopy can be enjoyed right from their window.

Picture this: an afternoon of outdoor bliss just a short stroll away from home. Kids in tow? No problem. With a play area full of climbing ropes, play tunnels, a wizard hideaway tower, and timber logs and steppers for nature play, the kids will be entertained for hours. And for the adults - we haven't forgotten about you either. Relax on shaded lounge seating or park benches, staying cool and comfy while the little ones frolic. Plus, with a public BBQ on hand, you can turn this outing into a full-blown family feast (without even leaving the park).

We've also made the most of high ground - using Illyarrie's elevated position to our advantage. Just imagine the kids' faces lighting up as they zoom down a 2.5 metre slide, perfectly set up on the natural slope. And, with many of the original trees kept in the play area and surrounding parklands, enjoy relaxed walks along meandering footpaths and terraced steps, with the shade of the trees (and a gentle lake breeze) to keep you cool. Pure bliss. Plus, don't worry about your four-legged friends - with plenty of grassed spots for them to enjoy, everyone's happy!
