Named after the Yagarabul word for 'stars', Mirrigin Park was developed in collaboration with the Yuggera Ugarapul People and CUSP landscape architects, reflecting cultural integration and community spirit.

Providence's park trail currently features a variety of outdoor spaces; seven playgrounds, a dog park, two sports and exercise parks and an aqua fun park. AQUA FUN PARK
Splash'n'Play Adventure Park | Amity Way
Our Splash’n’Play waterpark and outdoor adventure playground offers fun for everyone, from toddlers to teens, with bubbling water streams, climbing adventures, and sun-safe sails. Enjoy a BBQ or grab a treat from Forty West Café while you watch the kids play.

Ironbark Park | Freedom Crescent
Our first major sports ground, Ironbark Park, has a cricket pitch, goal posts, and lights. It's already open and home to Ripley Valley Football Club's senior men's, women's, and junior teams.
DOG PARK
Providence Dog Park | Harmony Crescent
In 2019, we opened our first dog park with off-leash areas covering 2,500 square meters. The park features separate spaces for small and large dogs, along with agility equipment and sheltered areas.

Treehouse Park | Barrams Road
Treehouse Park has a big round swing for multiple kids and a slide that makes climbing and sliding fun. With a shade sail for all-day play, the park also features basketball and netball courts for a variety of activities.

Gumnut Park | Popran Chase
Gumnut Park has something for everyone: a gumleaf house, a picnic area with a water refill station, a slide and swings. Plus, it offers stunning mountain views.

Mirrigin Park | Danbulla Street
Named after the word for "stars" in the local Yagarabul language, this park sits at the highest point in Providence, offering a great spot for stargazing. Designed with input from the Yuggera Ugarapul community, it features a yarning circle and totems that celebrate our local heritage.
Mine Memorial Park | Danbulla Street
This park honors the 18 miners who died in the Box Flat explosion of 1972. For the 50th anniversary of the tragedy, 18 box trees were planted here in their memory.
PLAYGROUND
Rascels Park | Wyperfeld Crescent
This nature-themed park has a dry creek bed, sandstone steppers, and great views. Named by the community after the youngest Ripley Valley Basketball team, it stands out from nearby adventure parks. It features two slides, a large swing, spiral tunnels, and leap-frog bumps, all designed for young kids.

Those looking for a gym can save some money and take advantage of the outdoor fitness and exercise park on Harmony Crescent.

Located close to the dog park, this yoga circle is perfect for those who with to unwind, stretch, breathe an re-connect. Ideal for solo sessions or weekly group sessions with your friends, this is the perfect place to find your zen.
