Residents and locals recently caught a glimpse of the monster-sized machinery and equipment that’s helping to construct the place they call home!

Families and truck enthusiasts converged on Davies Lane last month for the annual Monster Machine Day celebration at Providence.

Kids young and old enjoyed getting up close with the giant machines that are helping to build our growing South Ripley community, with scrapers, graders, excavators, bulldozers and dump trucks weighing up to 80 tonnes all on display. The kids loved the hard hats and wore them throughout the action-packed day.

Stockland’s Development Manager, Brock Jones, said the event successfully showcased the vibrant and connected community that’s on offer at Providence.

"It was great to see the community's involvement in the annual Monster Machine Day at Stockland Providence. Children had the opportunity to safely get close to some of the heavy machinery, like excavators and bulldozers, which are currently working to build the Barrams Road extension.”
