Introducting Rivus at Aura
Stockland is excited to unveil its latest residential precinct, Rivus at Aura, located within the suburb of Banya. Launching on 12 October, the first land release offers residents exclusive access to the picturesque Aura Brook, part of which officially opens to coincide with the launch of the new precinct.
Stage 1 of Aura Brook officially opens on 12 October, providing access to a pedestrian boardwalk, bridges, nature trails, the Enchanted Garden Park, and a direct connection between Banya and Nirimba Primary School.
Aura Brook is a beautifully designed green space featuring the Aura Brook Dog Park for pet-friendly fun, the Enchanted Garden Park perfect for family outings and nature trails for those who enjoy the great outdoors.
With a pedestrian bridge and boardwalk offering direct access to nearby schools and parks, the space seamlessly connects Banya with the Nirimba State Primary School, ensuring families have convenient walking routes to key community facilities.
Stockland Aura Development Director Josh Sondergeld expressed his excitement about the dual milestone of the Rivus land release and the Aura Brook official opening and looks forward to welcoming new residents to Aura.
“Rivus is an exciting new precinct with lots ranging up to 600sqm-plus - some enjoying direct private access to Aura Brook - and streets designed to capture brook views, reflecting our commitment to creating a connected, sustainable, and vibrant community,” said Mr Sondergeld.
The Rivus land release embodies the perfect blend of nature and modern convenience, with proximity to essential amenities like the proposed childcare facility and the planned neighbourhood centre.
“Aura Brook has something for everyone to enjoy, building on the 137km of existing walking paths, veloways, and 22 parks and playgrounds in Aura – continuing our commitment that every home in the community is no more than 400m from its nearest park or playground.
“Aura Brook also serves as a key environmental landmark in our community. Through innovative water management systems like raingardens and bioretention basins, we are protecting and enhancing our local ecosystem while also creating a sustainable, thriving habitat for local flora and fauna thanks to a diverse range of native Sunshine Coast vegetation.
“Our Enchanted Garden is sure to be a firm favourite with the young and old alike, featuring glow-in-the-dark aggregate ‘glow stones’, which absorb sunlight during the day and then emit light from dusk, fading over the next six hours thanks to being photo-luminescent. We have used these to create a playful trail for people to explore.”
Aura Brook is being developed in four stages, with an expected completion timeline of around five years.
With construction on the first home sites set to begin in late 2025 and the precinct developed in limited stages, Rivus presents an exciting opportunity for homebuyers looking to join this thriving community and also enjoy Aura’s newest addition, Aura Brook.
