Introducing Hilltop Park: Where Acacia comes to play
Exciting news for Acacia — Hilltop Park is on its way! This brand-new recreation park will be the first in the neighbourhood, giving residents a vibrant outdoor space to play, relax, and connect.
Spanning 6,000sqm, Hilltop Park has been designed for all ages. Whether you’re a thrill-seeking kid, a sports-loving teen, or a parent looking for a peaceful spot to unwind, there’s something here for everyone.
Designed by Place Design Group, the park takes inspiration from natural landscapes, blending elements of land art with the beauty of gum trees, rolling grass mounds, and sculptural play features.
“We wanted to create a space that feels natural and organic yet exciting,” Landscape Architect Kenneth Harris explains. “Hilltop Park is a place where kids can climb, explore, and let their imaginations run wild, while also offering spaces for families and neighbours to connect.”
At the heart of the park, a giant play structure with climbing nets sits atop a 2m high mound, complete with an embankment slide. There’s also a large bird’s nest swing and a half-court basketball area for friendly games. Expansive green spaces invite families to kick a ball or simply soak up the sunshine, while generous picnic areas make weekend gatherings a breeze. To ensure year-round comfort, shade sails cover play areas, while the planting of additional trees provides natural shade throughout the park.
“Hilltop Park was designed with the whole community in mind, creating a space where everyone feels welcome, no matter their age or interests,” Kenneth adds.

According to Aura’s Development Manager, Harry Kerr, Hilltop Park is set to become the heart of the neighbourhood.
“This park will be a place where families make memories, kids make friends, and neighbours get to know each other,” Harry says. “It’s not just about a new playground; it’s about creating a space that builds on Acacia’s community spirit.”
The addition of Hilltop Park aligns with Stockland’s vision for Aura, ensuring every home is within 400 metres of a green space.
“We want parks to be an effortless part of daily life, not just a weekend outing,” Harry says. “Whether it’s a morning jog, an afternoon at the playground, or a quiet moment under the trees, this park is designed to be enjoyed by the community every day.”
