Liveability at Willowdale

At Willowdale, we know it takes a lot more than bricks and mortar to create a thriving community. Our annual Liveability Index Survey measures what matters to our residents, so we can design our communities around what’s important.

The Liveability Index Survey invites feedback on all aspects of the community - from quality of built and natural environments, to how it's design supports mental and physical wellbeing.

Here's what we're doing to improve^

Delivering important amenity

Stockland is currently working on delivering important amenity at Willowdale, which includes the Willowdale Sportsfields and Leppington House Park. On track for completion by the end of 2024, the upcoming Leppington House Park will boast a lush ridgeline trail and an array of amenities for the community to enjoy. Included will be a community garden, lawn and picnic area, and engaging play spaces. Construction of the community sportsfields is underway. Once complete, the space will feature one full-sized AFL competition field, which doubles as two full-sized soccer pitches, one cricket pitch and training nets, one secondary training field, an amenities block including BBQ facilities and sports club facilities, and walking paths connecting the precinct with the existing nature reserve.

Maintenance of the Riparian

At Willowdale, we are currently in the process of handing over the riparian corridor land to Campbelltown City Council who will work to maintain the abundance of shrubs and shade-providing trees, as well as shared residential landscaped areas and footpaths. Stockland will continue to work with Council to ensure regular maintenance throughout Willowdale is completed. Stockland will also continue liaising with Willowdale’s residents to ensure that any complaints and concerns received around the riparian corridor are provided to council for their consideration.
