Sportsfield Construction Update - November 2024

Willowdale's new sportsfield complex is continuing to take shape and works are progressing well on-site.

Set to feature two full-sized soccer pitches, a cricket pitch and training nets, amenity blocks containing BBQ facilities and sports club facilities and more - the precinct will be a go-to destination for sports lovers of all ages! 

Completion is estimated for mid-2025*.

Key progress:

• Sportsfield turf - is now laid and getting lots of watering and love to perfect the surface for all future games and activities
• Play equipment - swing, slide and climb! The play equipment is nearing completion giving kids, and those young-at-heart, plenty of opportunity to have some fun in the near future
• Cricket nets - are up and ready for some future action

Upcoming milestones:

• Amenity building roof and carpark to be completed by end of 2024*
• Fit-out of amenity building to begin early 2025*
