New primary school and public pre-school in The Gables

Great news for current and future residents of The Gables!

The NSW Government has some exciting announcements for the future Gables K-6 Public School. The designs are being finalised, site assessments completed and planning documents progressed with the plan to commence construction onsite mid-2025 and open early 2027.  

Located between Fontana Drive and Cataract Road at 1 Pennant Way, this upcoming school will provide Gables families with convenient, high-quality public education options just minutes from home.

The school will cater to around 1,000 students with state-of-the-art classrooms, specialist support facilities, and a public preschool. Featuring modern amenities like a library, canteen, and play spaces, it will be a valuable community hub, enriching education from preschool to primary levels.
