Construction is underway at Sienna Wood Town Centre
Stockland has officially commenced construction on the Sienna Wood Town Centre, a new retail hub in Hilbert, located directly opposite Shipwreck Park.
The 7,500-square-metre town centre will include a full-line Woolworths supermarket, 15 speciality stores, dining options, a medical centre, and a Nido Early School childcare centre.
More than just a convenient spot for daily essentials, the Sienna Wood Town Centre will offer a welcoming space for the community to connect, relax, and enjoy a meal. The project is expected to create hundreds of local jobs during both the construction phase and ongoing operation, supporting the rapidly growing population in Perth's south-east.
To enhance access to the town centre, a 1.4-kilometre stretch of Forrest Road is undergoing significant upgrades. The existing single carriageway is being transformed into a dual carriageway between Wollaston Avenue and Eleventh Road, with the addition of two new roundabouts to improve traffic flow and safety. These upgrades will also provide better access to the nearby Hilbert Primary School, scheduled to open in 2026.
Stockland General Manager WA Development Col Dutton said the project will serve as a vibrant hub for the local community. “We are building infrastructure that provides everyday convenience and creates a place for the community to connect and socialise,” he said.
The Sienna Wood Town Centre is set to open in early 2026, bringing new opportunities and vibrant services to the area.
