Liveability at Amberton Beach

At Amberton Beach, we know it takes a lot more than bricks and mortar to create connected, liveable and happy communities. Our annual Liveability Index Survey measures what matters to our residents, so we can design our communities around what’s important.

Each year, Amberton Beach residents are invited to complete our Liveability Survey. The Liveability Index Survey invites feedback on all aspects of the community - from quality of built and natural environments, to how its design supports mental and physical wellbeing. The results help us understand the things our residents love, plus any areas we can improve on.

Here's what we're doing to improve^

Building stronger community engagement

We're committed to delivering a range of regular community events, and ensuring our residents are kept in the loop with regular updates.

Our continued partnerships with RSPCA and Live Life Get Active provide residents and the wider community with opportunities to register for free dog training sessions and daily fitness classes, running throughout the year.

From the ever-popular Twilight Markets to informative Community Drop-ins, keep an eye on our socials for all that's happening at Amberton Beach.

Achieving better connection

As one of the fastest growing regions in Perth, we understand the need for transport options to expand as our community grows.

Our residents are now 15 minutes closer to Perth CBD, thanks to the newly opened Mitchell Freeway extension reducing traffic congestion and commute times. With the METRONET Yanchep rail extension expected to open 15 July 2024, we’re continuously working towards enhancing connection and accessibility for our residents at Amberton Beach.

Bringing more local amenities to your doorstep

Improving everyday convenience for our residents is one of our top priorities.

Our popular Sensory Park features an inclusive playground with a cosy dome and inclusive swing, catering to our younger residents. Our new Western Oval, equipped with soccer fields and a cricket pitch, is co-located to the future Amberton Beach Government Primary School set to open in 2025. The Western Oval will also soon be home to a new sporting pavilion, courtesy of the City of Wanneroo.

With our much-anticipated lookout tower and northern foreshore reworks now complete plus future neighbourhood shops on the horizon, Amberton Beach offers an ever-increasing number of local amenities, right on your doorstep.
