Let’s grow Herbs!
Edmund Rice Services Mt. Atkinson, in partnership with Stockland, ran their first successful session offering residents the opportunity to learn how to grow herbs in the park.
Eat Grow Garden’s Jono, came along and taught us how to be a successful herb grower whilst offering information on both the health and cost benefits of growing your own herbs.
No matter your skill level, all residents were encouraged to join in as it was a great way to meet your new and existing neighbours!
If you missed out on the fun, never fear, we will be offering a second session on Wednesday 11th May. See below for locations and dates.
Remember: Here at Grandview, we are a big advocate for re-using and recycling materials, so if you grew your sunflower back in November, we highly encourage bringing the pot and re-purposing it as your herb garden.
On the day you will receive:
- Terracotta pots (limited numbers)
- Basic plastic pots
- Potting soil
- Herbs (Seeds and cuttings depending on the seeds)

Wednesday 11th of May
- Mt. Atkinson - Grizzly Bear Park 5pm to 5:45pm
- Grandview - Dinosaur Park 6pm to 6:45pm
