Mt. Atkinson's community celebrated the opening of the Vision Centre Playground with a Food Truck Fiesta.

Last weekend our community celebrated the opening of the new Vision Centre Playground with a Food Truck Fiesta!

The sun was shining with over 500 residents down at the new playground, enjoying this fun day out filled with good food, fun activities, and community spirit. 

On the day there was a face painter and magician, lawn games, a hula hoop workshop, and not to forget four food trucks serving delicious food. We loved seeing everyone enjoy this day, whether you were tucking into some good food or getting your face painted, it was just great to see the community thriving and enjoying this new park! 

It was a perfect day for a picnic, with many families throwing down a picnic rug and enjoying their food from one of the many food trucks. Residents had so many food options to choose from including hot dogs, burgers, fairy floss, snow cones, Vietnamese food, and Mexican food with vegan and vegetarian options too! The American style burgers were the hands down favourite amongst our residents. The Vision Centre Playground was filled with kids playing on the new equipment, with many families staying late into the afternoon enjoying their day out.

Overall, it was another great day out at Mt. Atkinson, and we were thrilled to see everyone enjoying the new park with each other.
