Final release of waterfront lots in the Lakefront Precinct have made a splash with three expressions of interest from prospective homeowners.

Stockland General Manager for Queensland Development, David Laner, said Newport was a popular choice for buyers who are drawn to the coastal lifestyle within an established area.

“Stockland Newport provides residents with convenient access to schools, shops, and transport links, and the community also has kilometres of tree-lined bike paths and parks, fostering an active and healthy lifestyle,” Mr Laner said.

“Newport homeowners will have direct access to the 22-hectare non-tidal lake to enjoy coastal activities like sailing, kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding, or simply to sip on a morning coffee or evening sundowner while taking in the waterfront views.

“This final Lakefront precinct release presents a rare opportunity for homeowners to secure one of the last waterfront lots within the Newport community, which sets a new standard for residential communities on the Redcliffe Peninsula and in the Moreton Bay region,” Mr Laner added.

Upon completion, Stockland Newport will have approximately 2,200 dwellings, including a combination of houses, townhomes, apartments and retirement living, with only 451 lots remaining for sale across the six stages.

Newport residents Camille and Ray Myler love the relaxed coastal feel of the Newport Community.

Newport residents Camille and Ray Myler have been living in Newport for over a year, and said they’ve enjoyed the lifestyle and sense of community that it offers.

“We love the fact that the community is near the water. There are beautiful parks and open spaces which are perfect for walking our dogs,” Mrs Myler said.

“The Newport Marketplace is amazing and so conveniently located, offering us everything we need.

“We love that Newport is a community centrally located, but still has a relaxed coastal feel.”

The much-anticipated final Lakefront precinct release follows Stockland Newport’s recent recognition as a finalist for Australia’s Best Masterplanned Development at the 2024 Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) National Awards.

Stockland Newport is located on the Redcliffe Peninsula, just a breezy 38 kilometres north of Brisbane, 30km from Brisbane Airport, 40 kilometres from the Sunshine Coast and a short drive from the Peninsula’s popular local beaches. Residents have easy access to schools, shops, transport links, and waterfront parks, making it a convenient and relaxing community for families and downsizers.

Lots in the Lakefront precinct final release start from $1.089 million2.
