Early learning

At Kinma Valley, families are surrounded by wonderful early learning opportunities. Just 2.7km from the community are two Goodstart early learning centres based at Narangba and Burpengary. These nurturing environments are designed to help children grow in confidence as they explore the world around them.

Bright Buttons is also located nearby, and Burpengary kindy offers a free government approved kindy program for 3-5 year old children. Primary school 

Right in the heart of Kinma Valley, Carmichael College provides an expansive education offering for families. Having opened in 2015, this new school has expanded to deliver everything from prep to year 12, plus kindy and for youngest children- an early learning centre too. Equipped with the latest facilities, Carmichael College provides a complete education journey for growing families. It’s also a hub for the community, with an onsite café that’s perfect for a morning coffee or catching up with other local families after school drop-off.

There are also four additional local primary schools in the suburbs surrounding Kinma Valley, each offering prep to year 6. These include Narangba Valley State School, Jinibara State School, Burpengary Meadows State School and Burpengary State School. With such a variety of local options, you can find the perfect school to suit your family’s needs, all just a short drive from Kinma Valley’s thriving community. 

Secondary and beyond

When it comes to secondary schools, there are a number of options for Kinma Valley families. Aside from Carmichael College , St Eugene College offers a faith-based education for children aged prep to year 12. Narangba Valley State High School is also positioned nearby as a dedicated secondary school, catering for students from year 7 to year 12.

In terms of tertiary education, the popular University of Sunshine Coast has a thriving campus conveniently located 13km from Kinma Valley in Caboolture, as well as other locations in Moreton Bay and Sippy Downs.
