We recently spoke with Josh about all things Aura and why he believes this fantastic coastal community is the perfect place to call home.

What is your career background?
I have enjoyed working at Stockland for nearly 18 years after starting as a Sales Professional for the Kawana Forest community here on the Sunshine Coast. Since then, I’ve been fortunate to work across various projects within the region and throughout the rest of Queensland, which has enabled me to gain insights into the delivery of numerous Stockland communities.

What do you enjoy about your role at Aura?
I really enjoy seeing people fulfil their dreams of becoming a homeowner, and it is really exciting to be working behind the scenes from the outset through to having residents occupy our neighbourhoods. Watching the community grow and thrive is why our team love what we do at Aura so much - we are helping build a community’s longevity from the ground up.

Our Aura Sales & Vision Centre is equipped with fantastic technology to help showcase what is on offer, which is important because in some cases, people are buying almost 12 months in advance off-the-plan so they are putting a lot of faith in Stockland. From digital renders through to animations and fly-throughs, we are able to show our community’s future vision, and what life will be like in the future.

Why do you think people want to become part of Aura’s community?
I think our residents are like-minded, and are looking for a real place to belong- which is what Aura offers. From first home buyers through to growing families and downsizers, Aura is an expanding community that everyone can call home.

Knowing Aura's masterplan, what are you looking forward to most about this growing community?
The detail that has been planned out for Aura is incredible. In terms of education offerings, thriving business developments and expanding network facilities such as the nearly completed Bells Creek Arterial Road, this is a community growing alongside our resident's needs.

Aura champions an outdoor lifestyle, with a masterplan reflective of this. The community is committed to delivering parks and playgrounds within 400m of every home. There is also a cycle veloway across Aura, giving pedestrians and cyclists safe passage throughout the community.

Residents are also very excited about the development of the People’s Place in the planned City Centre, this 11-hectare parkland will include a lagoon with water play and provide a fantastic space for the entire community to enjoy.
