Thank you to everyone in the community who came to celebrate Christmas at The Gables on Sunday and the official opening of Stargazing Park!

The Mayor of The Hills Shire Council, Dr Peter Gangemi, officially opened the park at 11:00am with a ribbon cutting surrounded by members of the community and the Senior Development Manager of Stockland The Gables, Ryan Baitz.

“The Gables Stargazing Park is an incredible space-themed adventure playground, one that will be cherished by this new community,” Mayor of The Hills Shire, Dr Peter Gangemi said. “Thank you to Stockland for providing residents in our newest suburb with a highly liveable place where they can enjoy community events, play time and healthy outdoor activities,” he said.

The space-themed park features UFO shaped shade structures, alien swings, glow-crete (glow in the dark concrete), a rocket-shaped flying fox, a velocitron pedal power bike, alien balance beams and more!

Christmas was celebrated in style with the man in red himself, a balloon artist & magician, live carollers, a Christmas DJ, face painting, lawn games plus FREE Bobby Bakehouse donuts & food from our favourite food trucks.

We look forward to holding more community events at this amazing location within The Gables.
