From Aspen Park to District Park: A Weekend of Community Milestones
The buzz around the community has been electric, with some fantastic milestones and events lighting up our neighbourhood recently!
On Saturday, March 22, we officially opened Aspen Park together with Chris Homer, Shellharbour City Council Mayor, and Gareth Ward, State Member for Kiama. Nestled right in the heart of our Aspen neighbourhood, this brand-new park features swings, a climbing structure, play equipment, a shaded picnic area, and plenty of open green space where families can kick back and have a blast.
But the party didn’t stop there! To celebrate this exciting milestone, we invited residents to District Park for an afternoon of family fun. Over 300 residents rolled out their picnic blankets, enjoyed tasty tea boxes, danced to live tunes, with the little ones enjoying face painting, crafts and sports activities. It was amazing to see the community come together and soak up the good vibes.
