At Stockland, we know it takes a lot more than bricks and mortar to create connected, happy communities. Since 1952, we’ve been building communities that bring people together. Spaces filled with energy, soul, and life. Where houses become homes and neighbours become family. All in pursuit of our purpose, a better way to live.
Our annual Liveability Survey is one of the ways we bring this purpose to life. By measuring what matters, we can better understand and design our communities around the things our residents love. From the quality of parks and playgrounds to how community design supports healthy minds and active lifestyles. We recognise, what matters to one person can be very different to the next. That’s why we survey across a diverse range, including belonging, connection, health and fitness, safety, environment, and sustainability.
Earlier this year, Altrove residents were invited to complete our 2024 Liveability Survey. The results are in. We’ve listened. And here are some of the initiatives we’ve implemented.

Maintenance of Open Spaces
We’ve heard your feedback on the ongoing maintenance issues at council-controlled parks and open spaces. We’ll continue to work with Blacktown City Council to make our spaces beautiful for all residents.
You can also request maintenance of your favourite parks here, and while Blacktown City Council requests that the community helps to maintain nature strips surrounding their homes, you can reach out to greenspace@blacktown.nsw.gov.au if you need to report an overgrown nature strip.
Community Wellbeing and Events
We know you love connecting with your community and neighbours, so we’re pleased to be continuing a few of Altrove’s favourite activities! Live Life Get Active at Hilltop Park runs each weekday and is a great way to get fit and make new friends. Find out more here. We’re planning some wonderful seasonal activities, so we’ll be in touch with more information very soon!
