Halcyon Greens awarded the best lifestyle community in Australia

Halcyon Greens was named the country’s best Development of the Year Retirement, Aged Care and Seniors Living at The Urban Developer Awards, announced by the publication at an online ceremony.

The $325 million community, which was designed by Sanctuary Cove architect Brian Toyota, is located on a 34 hectare island at Pimpama on the Gold Coast, surrounded by native wetlands and nature reserves and adjacent to Gainsborough Greens championship golf course.

Halcyon Greens is island oasis has been master planned with five residential precincts, all connected to a central 2.8ha green spine housing the $20m Recreation and Leisure Precinct.

Entrants in category were judged on a number of factors including design and town planning, engineering, construction and delivery, market acceptance and appreciation, financial performance and risk management, stakeholder management, teamwork and collaboration, environmental sustainability as well as community and social outcomes.

Since it was launched in late 2017, Halcyon Greens has been Australia’s fastest-selling lifestyle community, setting regional sales records across multiple releases.

When complete, Halcyon Greens will have 525 homes across 23 styles and eight designs finishes, a recreation club and lodge, cinema, gym and wellness centre, indoor and outdoor pools, a floodlit tennis court and championship-sized bowling green and be home to almost 1000 residents.

It is also the home of Australia’s largest purpose built Pickleball facility with eight floodlit courts.
