Nasi Goreng

Inspired by the $10* meal challenge taking over social media, we share a savvy Nasi Goreng recipe that's almost too good to be true! 

Ingredients

2 garlic cloves, finely chopped

1 green chilli, finely chopped

1 onion, diced

2 tbsp of sweet soy sauce

2 chicken breast kebabs

3 cups of white rice

Method

1. Cook the rice, spread it out on a tray and refrigerate for 4 hours. 

2. Once the rice has been chilled, add the garlic, chilli, and onion into an oiled saucepan over medium heat. Simmer until golden.

3. Add the chicken (optional) and cook through. 

4. Add the rice and sweet soy sauce, then cook for 3-5 more minutes, or until the rice starts to caramelise.
