Ingredients

5 celery sticks, chopped into various sizes

50g cream cheese

50g peanut butter

Handful of blueberries

Handful of cherry tomatoes

Handful of grapes

Handful of almonds

20 candy eyes

20 3cm sprigs of chives

1 apple, sliced and halved

1 orange, sliced

1 kiwi fruit, sliced

1 cucumber, sliced

Method

1. Alternate spreading cream cheese and peanut butter (or jam for a nut-free version) into the cavities of the celery pieces.

2. Use peanut butter (or use jam for a nut-free version) to affix the candy eyes onto grapes, almonds, or cherry tomatoes to create the heads of the critters.

3. Create antennae by poking a hole in the top of the sliced fruits or vegetables using a skewer, and inserting sprigs of chives.

4. Secure the critter heads onto one end of the celery sticks and create the critters body using various fruits and vegetables of your choice.

Tips:

  • For a snail shell effect, position the sliced fruits behind the critter's head.
  • To form a caterpillar, arrange rounded fruits or vegetables along the length of the celery stick.
  • For an ant, position just one rounded fruit or vegetable behind the critter's head.
