Here come the school holidays, and if you’re looking for a sensory activity that the kids will love, we have got you sorted.
Sensory play is an important factor for development in children — it encourages learning through curiosity, problem solving and creativity. Studies show children, and even adults, retain the most information when they are engaged with their senses, in fact, most of our fave memories are associated with one or more of our senses.
These rainbow soap bubbles have only three ingredients and will engage kids in hours of messy, sensory fun! So, let’s make some rainbow soap bubbles!

First things first, you’ll need to gather some items:

2 Tbsp of dish soap

¼ cup of water
-
An electric beater
-
A large bowl
-
Food colouring
-
A plastic tub
-
Some space outdoors
The best part of this activity is that you should have most of these items at home! Let’s get into it!
Step one
In a large bowl, beat the dishwashing liquid, food colouring and water until you have a cloud of bubbles.
Step two
Pour the bubbles into the plastic tub.
Step three
Repeat steps one to three with various food colours until you have the desired amount of bubbles and colours.
