At Whiteman Edge, we know it takes a lot more than bricks and mortar to create thriving, liveable and connected communities. The voice of our residents plays an important role as we continuously work towards curating inspiring places that offer a better way to live.


Our annual Liveability Survey measures what matters to our residents, so we can design our communities around what’s important. The Liveability Survey invites feedback on all aspects of the community - from quality of built and natural environments, to how its design supports mental and physical wellbeing.

Here’s what we’re doing to improve ^

Public transport connections

We're providing greater access to public transport with the METRONET Whiteman Park train station, expected to become operational by late 2024. The 25 minute journey time to Perth CBD will improve residents' access to current or potential work, leisure and entertainment. The station is also set to include a new pedestrian walkway under Drumpellier Drive, meaning the station is more accessible by foot for front-facing residents.

Community Engagement

We are continuing to provide Whiteman Edge residents with regular updates on what's happening around the community and surrounding areas. Our continued partnerships with RSPCA and Live Life Get Active provide residents and the wider community with opportunities to register for free dog training sessions and daily fitness classes, running throughout the year.

Access to amenities and entertainment

With Whiteman Edge Village, we're ensuring residents have an ease of connection to all the essentials. Everyday necessities are readily available, with specialty stores including beauty and hair salons, a 24/7 access gym, and food and drink offerings. Coles is just next door, ideal for getting the weekly grocery shops sorted. And, because of its central location, many residents can access the centre on foot, and leave the car at home.
