Shipwreck Park, Sienna Wood

Ahoy sailors! Shipwreck Park at Sienna Wood is the ultimate playground for little pirates. 
 
This nautical-themed playground lets kids explore a 30m shipwreck surrounded by rocks, sand and shipping cargo. With interactive features like an engine controller, speaking tubes and musical instruments, they can practice sailing the seven seas right here at Sienna Wood. The ship is accessible by stairs, ramps, ladders and rocks - so pirates of all ages can join the fun. 
 
Once they've set sail, there's plenty more to explore: giant swings, slides, in-ground trampolines and a double flying fox for hours of fun. Choose between land and sea with a multilevel sand play area, complete with pulleys, funnels and whale and seahorse rockers. Or, let the kids team up to pump water and control the flow in the water play area, following the stone creek to a nature play area with rocks, logs and balancing beams. 
 
Older kids can shoot some hoops at nearby basketball courts, play a game of table tennis, or get competitive at the football goals. Grassy areas surrounding the playground with picnic shelters, public BBQs, and toilets, make it the perfect spot for a family day out. Just don't forget to bring your furry friend down to join in on the fun, with an enclosed dog park right next door. 
 
Need a break? Mooba Café overlooks the park, offering refreshing drinks and snacks to refuel the little ones. Parents can head there for a morning coffee with friends and neighbours while they keep an eye on the kids - win, win!
