Over the weekend, Canopy was honoured to be announced as winner of the Medium Density Development category at the UDIA WA 2022 Awards for Excellence.
Overwhelming feedback from the judges was that Canopy not only complements the existing location but reinvents an often-overlooked pocket of Glendalough.
With a focus on retaining the existing trees on the 2.84 hectare site, including the iconic 60-70 year old fig tree along Rawlins Street, Canopy was recognised for its successful balance between inner-city living and a green, spacious and walkable community.
The design and style of the Canopy town homes were also praised for providing a range of innovative designs that cater for different buyers and lifestyles. Key features that received a mention by the judges included energy efficiency and smart design to maximise internal space.
The team at Stockland are very proud of what has been achieved at Canopy and excited to continue creating a community and homes that future residents will love.
