Another school will be added to our area, giving even more options for Amberton Beach families

Last year we welcomed Busy Bees to our neighbourhood, catering for dozens of our littlest residents.

As these children grow and prepare to go to "big school" we're so excited that the newest option for them will be right in Amberton Beach from 2025.

Eglinton South West Primary School (planning name) is currently in the planning phase but there's a lot of positive commentary around what we can look forward to.

Education and Training Minister, Sue Ellery noted we "… Will have state-of-the-art facilities, ensuring local students have access to exceptional learning opportunities."

The school will include an early childhood teaching area, specialist rooms for art and science, a library, covered assembly area, music room, oval and hard courts.

Shorehaven Primary School will also be happy to receive some enrolment relief, with the new school also having an education support facility for around 50 additional students. This will include classrooms, low stimulus rooms as well as therapy and sensory rooms.

Butler MLA John Quigley commented "Eglinton is growing fast, and quality schools are key to our efforts to build Perth's north and provide the best opportunities for families who call it home."

We love that our community is bringing increasing convenience to our residents as we welcome more residents and can't wait to add this new primary school to the list in the not too distant future.
