Customising your dream home at Springfield Rise!

01 November 2024

Whether it’s a certain style you’re dreaming about, or you’re looking for a home with enough space for the family, the new Metricon display homes at Springfield Rise show it’s possible to build a home for everyone to enjoy.

When it comes to building your dream home, your home should be as unique as you are! With 38 homes from 17 builders at Springfield Rise’s new display village, you’re sure to find a home to suit your style, preference and budget.

Metricon have three homes in the display village, each catering to a different style and preference, from a low maintenance single-story home to a luxurious double storey, and a vast family home with plenty of space too.

Each of the three Metricon homes in the Springfield Rise display village have been built in accordance with the National Construction Code and Liveable Housing Australia guidelines, meaning wider hallways and corridors for accessibility, as well as a bathroom on the ground level for easy access within the home.

With various customisable floor plans available, Metricon’s State Marketing Manager for Queensland, Rachel Blades, said it’s important for buyers to consider their current lifestyle and what each room will be specifically used for.

“When it comes to creating your dream home at the Springfield Rise display village, I have a few valuable pieces of advice from a design perspective. Firstly, it is crucial to consider the functionality and the flow of the spaces,” said Rachel.

“Think about how you and your family will use each room and ensure that the layout supports your lifestyle. Consider how your family will utilise the home both together and independently. Do you have children at school and need a study area or perhaps a dedicated home office toward the front of the home to separate work life from family life? Perhaps you’re a family who like to entertain and so a combined kitchen, dining, living and outdoor area will be important, as well as an additional living space for quieter moments,” Rachel said.

“Secondly, pay attention to natural light and ventilation. Incorporating a raked ceiling to the open plan kitchen, dining and living can easily give a greater sense of space in an already light filled entertaining area that seamlessly connects to the outdoor living spaces.”

“Additionally, embrace the unique features of the site, such as views or landscape elements, and integrate them into your design.”

Metricon’s homes have a variety of floor plans to choose from as well as a number of façade options, Rachel said this is a great way to customise a home to suit your preferred aesthetic.

“Lastly, don't be afraid to express your personal style and preferences. Your dream home should reflect your personality and create a space that brings you joy and comfort.”
