Plus, if you’re thinking about a career change or have your heart set on higher education, you’ll be happy to know that university and TAFE options aren’t too far away either. 

Here are some of the schooling options near the Shoreline community. 

Early Childhood Centres

They say education starts from birth, so when it comes to early childhood education, you want to ensure you’re putting your child in the best hands. The Redlands is home to some very reputable early learning education providers, including:

• Little Scholars School of Early Learning – Redland Bay
• Goodstart Early Learning Centre – Redland Bay
• Grasshoppers Early Learning Centre – Hoppers – Redland Bay

In future years to come, a new childcare centre will be opening within the Shoreline community – making life even more convenient for prospective parents.  

Primary Schools

The Redlands region is home to an array of high-performing primary schools. Whether you’re looking for public or private education for your little one, you’ll be happy to know there are plenty of options near the Shoreline community. These include: 

• Scenic Shores State School (Prep to Year 6) – located within the Shoreline community  
• Calvary Christian College (Pre-prep to Year 12) – Carbrook
• Kimberley College (Prep to Year 12) – Carbrook
• Faith Lutheran College (Prep to Year 12)
• St Rita’s Catholic Primary School (Prep to Year 6) - Victoria Point 
   

The new Scenic Shores State School, currently under construction in Shoreline on the corner of Scenic and Serpentine Creek Roads is a vital step forward for the fast growing Shoreline Community and booming Redland Bay region. 

The $64 million school will be home to several state-of-the-art facilities, including a STEM room, two music rooms, a multi-purpose hall with a basketball court, scoreboards and shot clocks, and a stage for drama presentations. 

The school is highly accessible, with wheelchair access available throughout the entire school.

High Schools

Similar to the range of nearby primary schools, there are plenty of secondary education options to suit your child and family’s needs. These schools include:

• Victoria Point State High School (Year 7 to 12) - Victoria Point

Through events and the community grants program, Shoreline has developed a collaborative relationship with high schools in the local area. Victoria Point State High School is one such example, receiving a grant from Shoreline for their student-led Honey Bee project in 2021, and participating in a mentoring program with Lendlease team members through the Australian Business and Community Network. 

Higher Education

If you’ve got teenagers at home that are set to graduate high school in the coming years, you’ll be happy to know that Shoreline is 23km from TAFE Queensland and Griffith University (Loganlea and Logan Campuses respectively).
