Liveability at North Shore

At North Shore, we know it takes a lot more than bricks and mortar to create a thriving community. Our annual Liveability Index Survey measures what matters to our residents, so we can design our communities around what’s important.

The Liveability Index Survey invites feedback on all aspects of the community - from quality of build and natural environments, to how it's design supports mental and physical wellbeing.

We've listened and here's some of the initiatives we've implemented to make North Shore even better.

Safe and Easy Access to Learning

We’re planning a new walkway. The Walking School Bus will run through the heart of Amity Village and will provide a safe, dedicated path for children and families to walk to and from school, promoting a healthy lifestyle and making access to quality learning easier. This initiative supports our commitment to creating a connected community where students can enjoy an active start and end to their school day.

Bringing you more retail

Great news for North Shore residents—council approval has just been granted for a range of new retailers to join our community, bringing shops, cafes and more, closer to home. This exciting addition will provide easy access to everyday essentials, making it more convenient than ever to enjoy local shopping and dining right on your doorstep. Stay tuned for more details.

Building a safer community

At North Shore, we believe a connected community is a safer community. We will be providing incentives to encourage residents to host their own BBQ get-togethers, creating opportunities to get to know your neighbours. By building these connections, we can look out for each other, promote a watchful eye over our homes, and enhance the overall safety and security of our neighbourhood.
