Newport Testimonial - Ray and Camille

When Redcliffe locals Ray and Camille drove through Newport after work one day, they had no idea that they were about to find their dream home.

“As locals in the area, we knew about Newport and one afternoon after work we decided to check it out,” Ray commented.

“There was a corner block located within an area of Newport that I loved, and we spoke to the lovely sales team who said it had just become available, so it was meant to be! We went ahead and literally put the deposit down that afternoon,” said Camille.

After deciding on local builder CMA, Camille and Ray utilised the community’s display village for inspiration, and worked with their builder to bring their dream home to life.

“It took just over a year for the whole process, and CMA made it easy! They always updated us on what they were doing and how long it was going to take. it was actually a really great experience,” Camille said.

Now having lived in Newport for a year, Camille and Ray love living in their coastal community, and are happily enjoying lakeside life. 

“We love the coastal lifestyle that being near the water brings you,” mentioned Ray.

“There are so many amenities all within walking distance, we definitely spend a lot of time in Newport Marketplace. On the weekend we like to grab a coffee from one of the cafes in the morning, or there are a number of lovely restaurants that we can go to at night, which are really, really nice,” said Camille.

With their two golden retrievers, Camille and Ray love making the most of their surroundings and find it easy to enjoy an outdoor lifestyle.

“There are walking paths everywhere, and we have two dogs- so we love to take them for walks through the community, around the lake to the marketplace,” Ray commented. 

The couple had some thoughts to share with anyone looking to consider buying at Newport.

“If you were considering buying a home at Newport, we would definitely recommend it. We've enjoyed the process of buying our land and building our dream house. We love living in such a vibrant community, and everything you need is right on your doorstep.”
