Discover Elara's Northern Playing Fields

The submission of the Northern Playing Fields' development application to Blacktown City Council is a major milestone for our community. The DA approval consent is currently being finalised by the Council, allowing procurement of the works over the coming months.  

 

We appreciate that the application's approval has taken longer than anticipated and we thank our Elara residents for their patience. We expect to receive approval from Blacktown City Council in mid-2023 and we are working towards commencing construction in the second half of this year. 

This development will provide a host of benefits that will enhance liveability, including two playing fields, a playground, cricket nets, amenities building and walking and cycling paths. The proposed playing fields will provide space for all ages to engage in physical activities, such as sports and outdoor games.

This will not only promote a healthier lifestyle but also foster a sense of community spirit and is set to be a destination hub for the Elara community and regional visitors to meet, play and relax.
