Celebrating the Chinese New Year at Pallara
Pallara residents will be treated to free festivities with a Chinese New Year celebration hosted at the Stockland Pallara display village on Saturday, 9 February.
Families will have the chance to immerse themselves in the traditions of Chinese culture with a range of free activities including a kid’s lantern workshop and games of Chinese checkers and giant chess.
With fortune cookies in hand, guests can experience an exciting lion dance complete with complimentary lucky red envelopes to embrace the tradition of showing thanks for the performance.
David Laner, Queensland General Manager for Residential Communities at Stockland, said the event was a chance for locals to experience the diversity of the community.
“At Stockland, we believe in creating communities that are diverse and inclusive across all cultures and we’re pleased to deliver highly-liveable neighbourhoods and free family-friendly events,” he said.
“Residents also have access to affordable and quality home options for many different lifestyles and budgets, resulting in sustainable places to live and healthy and happy residents.”
Stockland is now making it easier for homebuyers to secure their dream home, with the Home Sweeter Home Sale offering sweet deals to homebuyers at Pallara from 14 January to 3 March, with $10,000 off all residential lots at Queensland communities. Building bonuses up to the value of $25,000 are also available from a selection of Stockland’s builder partners.
The Chinese New Year Celebration will take place at the Pallara display village at 2 Brookbent Road on Saturday, 9 February from 10am to 12pm.
