Willawong Distribution Centre - Connecting Brisbane and beyond

We’ve made significant progress on the fourth and final stage of the Willawong Distribution Centre, with practical completion expected in March 2025. This expansion will add 46,000 square metres, bringing the size of the facility to a total of 100,000 square metres. Situated in Brisbane’s southwest corridor, around 20 kilometres from the CBD, Willawong Distribution Centre will become our largest logistics facility in Queensland.
 
As Stockland’s first Energy Bay project, featuring dedicated infrastructure for renewable energy generation, the centre is leading the way in sustainable design and innovation. The proposed 1.5MW solar installation is positioned to significantly reduce electricity costs while delivering environmental benefits to our tenants.
 
Targeting a 5 Star Green Star As Built rating, Willawong Distribution Centre Stage 4 integrates a host of sustainability features, including: 
 
•    Water and energy metering systems to monitor and enhance building performance
•    Optimum use of natural daylight to create brighter, more energy-efficient warehouse spaces
•    Energy-efficient LED lighting with intelligent control 
•    Rainwater collection for landscape irrigation
 
This state-of-the-art precinct is tailored to meet the needs of the fast-growing South East Queensland region, offering scalability and operational efficiency to our customers.

"Centrally positioned within the Brisbane South Industrial Precinct, Willawong provides excellent connectivity to major arterial roads, the Logan Motorway, Acacia Ridge intermodal freight terminal, Brisbane Airport, and the Port of Brisbane, ensuring consumers receive their goods faster."
