Construction of the $14.5 million clubhouse at Halcyon Horizon is well underway!
Halcyon Horizon is Stockland’s flagship land lease community for those aged 55 and over in the Geelong region. Located in Armstrong Creek, just 15 kilometres from Geelong and a short drive from Torquay’s scenic surf coast, the community is also conveniently close to Stockland’s masterplanned development, Banksia.
Work on the clubhouse began in August this year, and once complete, it will feature an impressive array of resort-quality facilities, including a Gold Class-style cinema, a social alfresco area, pickleball courts, an outdoor pool, an indoor pool and spa, as well as a wellness precinct with a fully equipped gym, sauna, steam room, and beauty salon.
Construction is progressing steadily. For the social area, in-ground works have been completed, including all services and piers for the structural foundation. The slab is expected to be poured in the second last week of December. The entertainment section is currently at lockup stage, with cladding completed and the internal rough-in of services underway. Plastering is set to begin in early January. In the wellness precinct, in-ground works are complete, the slab has been poured, and the frame has been installed with the roof scheduled for installation in early January. The pool house is also advancing, with all pool slabs poured and structural steel and framing set to begin in early January. Lastly, the Pickleball courts are well underway, with the slabs already poured.
The clubhouse is scheduled to open in the second half of 2025, and the community is eagerly anticipating its completion. This will mark a key milestone for homeowners, as the clubhouse will become the heart of the community, providing a space for homeowners to socialise, stay active, and connect.
