Easy living at Halcyon Rise

Low maintenance living has just become even better with the Easy Living Series of homes at Stockland's Halcyon Rise Community. 

The Easy Living Series features three home designs, the Beechmont, the Allora and the new Kooralbyn, all with minimum maintenance and maximum style. 

Stockland Project Director, Chris Carley, said the homes are perfect for those looking to downsize without compromise. 

“We introduced this new product line to respond to the changing market and they've become particularly popular with singles looking to make the most of their next stage of life,” Chris said. 

“The new series of homes means our owners can enjoy the resort quality facilities right on their doorstep and the lock and go life, with a lot less maintenance,” Chris said.  

Carol Wilson moved into Halcyon Rise in February this year and selected the Beechmont home design. 

“The Beechmont is the perfect home for me; it feels spacious and the floorplan is very well designed with an open plan, lots of natural light and plenty of storage.” 

“After my husband Barry passed away, I knew I was going to love community living at Halcyon Rise,” she said. 

Carol said she didn’t know anyone upon moving into the community but has quickly made fast friends with her neighbours and other homeowners. 

“I walk my dog a lot, so it’s been a good way to meet people,” Carol said. 

As well as walking her schnauzer, Carol also enjoys staying active using the facilities in the Homestead. 

“I swim 1km per week, I go to the gym two or three times a week, I attend the weekly movie nights and also play pool on Sunday evenings,” she said. 

“Ultimately, the friendships I’ve formed and the array of activities on offer are what make my new home and lifestyle so special.” 

Halcyon Rise is set upon sprawling acres adjoining the beautiful Logan River and conveniently located 33km from the Brisbane CBD.
