Leading Australian builder confirmed and construction to commence at Stockland Halcyon Gables

Stockland Halcyon Gables is celebrating another milestone. One of Australia's leading builders, Edgewater Homes - a division of the Henley Properties Group, has been confirmed as the home builder for Halcyon Gables with construction aiming to commence before the end of the year.

Founded in 1989 by three friends, Henley Properties Group has since built over 58,000 properties across Australia. It is no coincidence that Stockland Halcyon and Henley are aligned in business values, with a commitment to quality and care for the customer and homeowner.

“We’re really excited about the new community being built. The Edgewater Homes business has had a relationship with Stockland for over 35 years now,” says Timothy Reid, General Manager of New South Wales, Henley Properties Group.

“The great part about the Stockland Halcyon project in Gables is that these homes have specifically been designed not only for the homeowners, but for the community they’re in.”

The Stockland Halcyon Gables site is being prepared for home construction, with the earthworks and stormwater complete, and retaining walls coming together. Next, the roads will be formed so paving can be laid.

“We’re reaching a key milestone for the Halcyon Gables project,” says Ken Franklin, Project Director at Stockland Halcyon Gables.

“You can start to see how it’s coming together. Where The Lodge and other resort-style facilities are going to be located, and what a nice first impression homeowners and visitors will have when they come into the community.”

Once construction begins, the rest of the resort style facilities at Stockland Halcyon Gables will start to take shape, including a gold-class style cinema, library, bar and functions space, games room, art studio, bowling green, pickleball courts, sauna and 25-metre heated mineral pool.

Edgewater Homes has measures in place to ensure the homes at Halcyon Gables are well built. Quality inspections are conducted throughout the build process to ensure standards are upheld, and the supervisors are invested in what they’re creating.

“The homes that we are building here are a long-term opportunity for the owners. They are designed for the way people live today, and I think when the homeowners walk in, they’ll be really impressed with the quality that has been delivered,” says Timothy.

There are eight home plans available at Stockland Halcyon Gables, with luxury inclusions, and a choice of four colour schemes to select from. For those wanting a more personal touch, there’s also a range of customisation options.

Construction of the Gables Town Centre, only 800m from the Stockland Halcyon community, has also commenced, with development of the Lake foreshore due to begin in September.
