Partnering with First Nation suppliers

Stockland is committed to working with its suppliers to create more sustainable outcomes. We have recently formed an exciting new partnership with Nallawilli Office Wares (NOW), which is a 100% privately owned First Nation Stationery and Office Supplies business.

NOW will supply Stockland with Australian made, 100% recycled and Indigenous branded office paper and tissues. NOW paper will be progressively stocked in all Stockland offices and assets over the next few months.

We will purchase NOW paper through our partnership with Staples who, along with NOW and Stockland, are members of Supply Nation and are committed the protecting the environment. Supply Nation, its members and Certified Indigenous business suppliers aim to build a vibrant and prosperous Indigenous business sector by incorporating Indigenous owned, controlled and managed businesses into the supply chain of Australian companies and government agencies.

We have previously worked with Staples to source other sustainable products. In 2015 for example, Staples introduced Stockland to Warrnambool Cheese and Butter (WCB), the oldest dairy company in Australia (established in 1888) who source their milk from a large network of dairies owned by local farmers. Stockland now stock WCB milk in its corporate offices across Australia, thereby supporting local produce and Australian farmers.
