Visiting Beveridge in person, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, confirmed the  Commonwealth Government’s commitment to the Camerons Lane Interchange, as part of investments in Victorian transport infrastructure over the next 10 years.

The Camerons Lane Interchange will intersect with the Hume Freeway, creating a new entrance and exit to the north of the existing Lithgow Street interchange.

The Camerons Lane Interchange will connect directly with Stockland Lyra via Minton Street, supporting urban development in Melbourne’s north, and improving access to and over the freeway for all residents.

The new interchange is integral to the development of the Beveridge Intermodal Precinct, which, once complete, is expected to generate 20,000* jobs for the region.

Stockland Development Director James Hawker attended as a guest of National Intermodal and was thrilled to see a significant funding boost to transport infrastructure in Beveridge.
