Stockland are thrilled to report that construction is now complete on Haven’s Central Park & Playground. The southern section of the park is now open to Haven’s first residents.

Haven’s central park is a 4,000 square metre open space centrally located within the heart of the community. The park includes a playground (specially designed for 4–10-year old’s), a shelter, BBQ facilities, bike racks, an O-Initiative drinking fountain, walking spaces and an open grass area. The overall park design and features were based on community consultation.

The central park also has many sustainability features including an underground stormwater harvesting detention system which will provide passive irrigation to streetscape trees. There is also an O-Initiative drinking fountain which will offer an alternative to wasteful bottled water. Furthermore, recycled bricks have been incorporated within the construction of the shelter and BBQ area.     

The northern section of the park is anticipated to be open to Haven’s residents and wider community in Spring 2022*. You can view images of the park via the image gallery below.
