Buying your first home can be a daunting prospect, but for First Home Buyers Pooja Ramjuttun & Gurjinder, their first home purchase with Stockland in Clyde was a breeze. We caught up with Pooja to learn more about their experience.

How would you describe your home-buying experience?
Amazing and very interesting. As first home buyers, we were a bit lost at the start but Stockland answered all of our questions patiently and provided the valuable information we needed to make the process smooth and easy.

Would you do anything differently, and if so what would it be?
Not really, we were very lucky to purchase a pre-built brand new home from Stockland. The quality of the house is impressive and it saved us the hassle of building.

What did you like about Clyde?
The location is very convenient and the community in Clyde is very family-friendly, being close to schools and amenities.

What do you think Stockland does well as an industry-leading property developer?
I believe Stockland puts a lot of emphasis on quality while designing an community. We have parks, good quality roads, well-designed homes and the houses are not crowded - there is a decent amount of space which is really good.

Would you recommend Stockland to friends and family, and if so, please explain your reason why?
Of course! Stockland were very professional from start to finish and provided us with a lot of support and information. They were also flexible with our settlement date and worked with what was convenient for us.

Who did you build with and how was your experience with them?
We bought a Porter Davis spec home and we are really happy with the house design, quality and aftercare.

What is your favourite feature of your home?
The open plan living and kitchen area - perfect for entertaining our large group of friends and family.

What suburb did you move from and what excited you about living in Clyde?
Dandenong. Clyde excited us because it is a family-oriented suburb, with plenty of parks and green areas, schools close by, easy access to the freeway and the proposed Clyde train station on the way.

What are you most looking forward to now and for the future in your new Stockland home?
I am looking forward to connecting with our neighbours in the community and making a lot of memories in our new home.
