But why does all the fun of the golden brown nectar have to finish in the inner suburbs? Good news. It doesn’t.

Introducing… Dwyer Street Café.

Dwyer Street Café is the new local treasure delivering caffeinated pleasure for those living a bit further north of the city.
Located in the up-and-coming suburb of Kalkallo, just a few minutes’ drive off the busy Hume Freeway, Dwyer Street Café is the perfect place to relax and recharge with quality barista-made coffee.

Recently taken over by Mario Santilli, who also owns the popular Waterside Café at Stockland's Highlands community in Craigieburn said, “We’re looking forward to achieving the same success with Dwyer Street Café that we’ve seen at Waterside Café, providing exceptional service and great coffee plus other refreshments and snacks for the new residents of Stockland’s Cloverton community and all those people who visit the area.”

Santilli is serving up Melbourne staples including avocado on toast, smoked salmon salads and a range of pizzas and focaccias to warm you up over Winter. A selection of teas, chai, milkshakes and babycinos are also available.

Dwyer St Café overlooks Cloverton’s innovative inclusive adventure playground which has an eight-metre spiral slide, water play area, flying fox and a creative sculpture garden. So you can let the kids burn off some energy while you kick back with a cuppa with clear line of sight to the playground.

The café is also pet-friendly so bring your dog or puppy and let the whole family enjoy a relaxing meal together. Plus there is on-site parking for easy access.

Dwyer Street Café is open Monday to Friday 9am-4pm and Saturday & Sunday 10am-4pm.

Address: Corner Dwyer Street and Design Way, Kalkallo.
