The park has been specifically designed to protect a stony rise that is culturally significant to the Wurundjeri People, and 200-year-old River Red Gums that sit on the site.
Cloverton’s newest park will also include:
- Two giant slide towers
- BBQ facilities
- Two sheltered seating areas
- A flying fox
- A rock-climbing wall
- Balancing obstacles
- Swings and jungle gym
- Turfed kick-about area
- Considered planting to promote biodiversity
- Walking and cycling paths
Construction of the 2-hectare sized park will commence later this year with completion scheduled for mid-2025*.
