Road construction projects
There are a number of roads currently in planning and under construction at Cloverton. Stockland understands the importance of key road infrastructure in meeting the growing needs of the community and that is why we are working closely with Council and relevant Authorities to try and deliver these key roads as quickly as possible. Please see below for a summary on all current key road infrastructure projects.
Cameron St (connecting Cloverton Blvd & Bells Ave/Lockerbie St) & Cloverton Blvd (connecting Cameron St & Souter Ave)
Construction works on Cloverton Blvd (connecting Cameron St and Souter Ave) are now complete and the road is open to the public. Cameron St (connecting Cloverton Blvd and Bells Ave/Lockerbie St) has been fully constructed but will remain closed until the t-intersection at Cloverton Blvd and Cameron St can be signalised.
Overall, this initial t-intersection at Cloverton Blvd and Cameron St, connecting Bells Ave/Lockerbie St and Souter Ave is anticipated to open in Late 2024 - early 2025*.

Construction of Cameron St (connecting Dwyer St and Antares Pde) is currently underway. The works include a roundabout at the intersection of Dwyer St and Cameron St, along with another roundabout at the intersection of Antares Pde and Cameron St.
This section of connector road is anticipated to be completed early-to-mid 2025*.
Cameron St (connecting Cloverton Blvd & Dwyer St)
Construction of Cameron St (between Cloverton Blvd and Dwyer St) is currently underway. The opening of this section of Cameron St is anticipated to align with the delivery of the roundabout at the intersection of Dwyer St and Cameron St, to enable this roundabout to be constructed following the opening Cloverton Blvd (connecting Toyon Rd and Cameron St) – providing alternate access whilst this roundabout is constructed.
This section of Cameron Street is anticipated to be open late 2024 - early 2025*.
Cloverton Blvd (connecting Cameron St & Toyon Rd)
Construction works on Cloverton Blvd connecting Cameron St and Toyon Rd are complete.
With this new section of Cloverton Blvd now complete, the temporary access between Goodman Ave and McKane St is now permanently closed.
Cloverton Blvd Bridge (second entry to Cloverton via Donnybrook Rd)
Construction works on the Cloverton Boulevard Bridge are progressing well, with bridge deck works underway.
The Cloverton Blvd Bridge will cross the Merri Creek Conservation Reserve, connecting Cloverton Blvd, between Klandy Drive and the roundabout at the intersection of Cloverton Blvd and Station Pde, to Donnybrook Road.
The bridge will provide two-way car access, along with paths providing pedestrian and cyclist access.
The bridge is anticipated to open late-2024*.
Growling Grass Frog Culvert Mix Trial
The Merri Creek Conservation Reserve is home to the Growling Grass Frog (GGF). The GGF, is a native Australian amphibian that has a significant role in maintaining healthy ecosystems. However, sadly their population has been in decline since the 1980s, making them a vulnerable and endangered species.
The Cloverton Blvd Bridge features concrete structures that allow water to flow under the roadway, known as a culvert. Culverts also allow animals to pass under the bridge safely. To ensure that the culverts being constructed as part of Cloverton Blvd Bridge resemble the GGF’s natural habitat, and to help support the survival of the GGF, a Growling Grass Frog Culvert Mix Trial has been set up.
