The design concepts for the $18.48 million Armstrong Creek Library and Community Hub are here. This amenity will be located very close to Stockland Banksia.
The funding for this project, including $1.5 million from the Victorian government, will help to deliver this state-of-the-art library and community Hub in Armstrong Creek, to be built in Main Street and completed in early 2024.
This three-storey building will be the first piece of community infrastructure for the Armstrong Creek Town Centre and not only provides a place for learning, but a place for locals to gather and grow together.
Inspired by the Wadawurrung People who traditionally have a natural travelling route and meeting point known as 'Living Water', the vision for the new library and community hub is to gather and nourish the people of Armstrong Creek at a central meeting point and place of inspiration to thrive together.
