Stockland opens new Lighthouse Park at Amberton for imaginative play

09 March 2020

The highly anticipated Amberton Beach Lighthouse Park opened to the public over the weekend, ready to be enjoyed by northern suburbs residents.

For the first time last week families enjoyed the $2 million interactive park, which boasts a 8.5m high lighthouse complete with twisting slides, climbing nets and views of the ocean – all designed to inspire children’s imaginations and encourage creative play.

The coastal themed park comes as part of a whole new precinct for Amberton Beach – opening alongside the newly established Amberton Beach Bar and Kitchen, as well as including a wide range of sporting features including cricket pitch, netball and basketball hoop.

Stockland WA General Manager Residential Col Dutton said Stockland was proud to create spaces where residents can connect with the those within their local community.

“The new Lighthouse Park offers an interactive space for families to enjoy as part of the thriving coastal lifestyle of Amberton Beach,” he said.

“Being able to offer vibrant amenities and facilities for the whole community to enjoy is a core focus for Stockland and we are always excited when it comes to launching a new park.”

The Lighthouse Park is suited for all ages and is part of Stockland’s $5 million foreshore precinct, with direct access to the beach as well as food and drink amenities, barbeques and showers.

The new Lighthouse Park enhances the fun family community of Amberton Beach, complementing the large open spaces, playgrounds, scooter and skate park, enclosed dog park and AFL sized oval as well as a network of cycle ways and exercise stations.

Lighthouse park is located at Idyllic View Amberton Beach, Eglinton and is now open to the public.

Amberton Beach is located in Eglinton in the Northern Coastal Growth Region and will ultimately comprise more than 2,500 dwellings. Land is currently priced from $159,000 and house and land packages start from $299,910.
