Stockland Minta recognised as Victoria’s best residential subdivision
Stockland Minta, a masterplanned community in Melbourne’s southeast, has been awarded the best Residential Subdivision at the 2023 Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) Victoria Awards for Excellence, held at The Crown Palladium on Friday 1 December 2023.
Located 48 kilometres south-east of Melbourne CBD, Stockland Minta is in the highly sought after suburb of Berwick and comprises around 1600 lots, with 22 hectares of nature reserves, lakes, and green open spaces.
Stockland Development Director, Sommer Liston said it was an honour for Stockland Minta to be recognised for this prestigious industry award.
“Stockland Minta takes great pride in fostering a strong sense of community, with our residents able to take advantage of a diverse range of carefully planned amenities, natural surroundings and a bespoke Minta Community App that fosters community connections,” Mrs Liston said.
“Residents also have access to the Bells Road arterial representing a near direct link to the Princes Freeway with local schools, childcare centres, and a shopping centre now only minutes away.
“We’ve also created versatile outdoor spaces for the community to connect and thrive including the innovative Minta shadeway (a shaded walkable path), and Minta’s major parks are equipped with convenient workstations and free Wi-Fi.”
Stockland Minta has set a new standard for residential communities in Victoria, offering exceptional amenity and infrastructure to its residents that has resulted in strong sales.
“Stockland Minta is a premium estate and has had an overwhelmingly positive market response with over 1200 lots already sold, prompting the acceleration of its completion by four years,” Mrs Liston added.
The annual UDIA Victoria Awards for Excellence honour the highest achievers across all sectors of the development industry with winners eligible to contest the national awards.
Entrants in the Residential Subdivision category were judged on a number of factors including urban design, innovation and sustainability, sales results, community development, as well as demonstrating an established relationship and integration with nearby facilities.
