28 April 2022

Stockland, one of Australia's largest diversified property developers, is continuing its expansion into Melbourne's western growth corridor with the launch of Stockland Wattle Park on Saturday April 30.

Stockland Wattle Park is located 33 kilometres west of Melbourne's CBD and just over one kilometre from the company's well established Grand Central community. The new community will feature over 500 home sites across an impressive 2.6 kilometres of frontage along the Werribee River.

Project Director, Ed Krushka said that Stockland is delighted to offer another high quality and accessible community to meet the growing demand for property in Melbourne's west.

Mr Krushka said: "Stockland has been a trusted Australian developer for 70 years, building some of Australia's best communities across the country. With an additional 267,000 people moving into the area since 2010, representing a 38% increase in population1, Stockland is proud to deliver another exceptional community to meet the demand for quality homes and communities in the west."

“Wattle Park not only offers prospective residents an opportunity to call established Tarneit home but will also provide space for families to have an active lifestyle with access to a range of open spaces among nature to enjoy. Wattle Park truly is the ideal community for families looking to upgrade or settle in the area.”

The new 84-hectare site has an abundance of outdoor space with a proposed sports reserve and playgrounds as well as a 26 hectare conservation area. Wattle Park will also feature a planned walking trail and park along the 2.7 kilometres of Werribee River frontage and a proposed community centre.

Mr Krushka continued: "The interest we have had in our communities in the west shows buyers are drawn to accessible living options that support active lifestyles. Wattle Park's, tranquil environment and access to outdoor open space, as well as the proximity to Melbourne’s CBD, make the community perfect for young and growing families."

Lots range from 199 square metres to 516 square metres, with pricing in the first release starting from $217,000 for a 199 square metre lot.
