Rockhampton dining precinct retailers
Stockland continues to progress well with its new $6.6 million, 250-seat casual dining development, The Terrace at Stockland Rockhampton, today announcing the first four big brand names to join the centre.
Offers have been accepted from Max Brenner Chocolate Bar, Gelatissimo,Guzman Y Gomez and Burger Urge, which will all take up tenancies in The Terrace alfresco dining precinct at Stockland Rockhampton in the new year.
The new precinct is being designed to bring together a tantalising range of international foods and flavours, offering customers a new place to meet, eat and socialise with family and friends.
Tamir Haikin, Managing Director of Max Brenner Australia said: “We are excited to extend our unique chocolate culture across northern Queensland and to be bringing our first chocolate bar to Rockhampton at the new Terrace at Stockland Rockhampton. This is an exciting time for the Max Brenner brand as we continue to grow. We are committed to sharing our new chocolate culture across Australia and to continually providing a unique experience to our loyal customers.”
Construction of The Terrace is on schedule and set to open in early 2016. The new precinct will create an all-weather indoor and outdoor casual dining area of approximately 1,300 square metres.
Upon completion, The Terrace will become a destination in its own right, featuring several exciting new food eateries with all-weather seating for alfresco and after hours dining all year round. The northern aspect of the dining precinct will take full advantage of natural light and the design will be complimented by a warm colour palette creating a resort-style dining sanctuary. Over time, luscious planter boxes and green walls will grow to further beautify the space.
Mr Barbagallo continues: “The Terrace will offer our customers a new, first class dining experience right here at Stockland Rockhampton. We want to offer our customers a greater variety of casual dining choices where friends and family can enjoy a relaxing lunch in between shopping or catch up for dinner before seeing the latest movie.”
Stockland estimates that the $6.6 million development of The Terrace will create more than 30 local jobs during construction and 50 new, long-term retail employment opportunities, once The Terrace development is complete.
